My house isn’t as clean as I would like it to be. I need to go to the grocery store. It seems like there’s a constant pile of laundry in my closet. Oh, and I’ve been wearing my pajamas for so long I can’t even remember a time when I wore “real” clothes.
It’s hard for me not to stress in these situations. I’m obsessive and kind of a perfectionist. I love order and organization and I HATE when my home is messy.
But, right now, none of that matters. In this very moment, I’m not worrying about the breastfeeding issues we’ve been having; I’m not thinking about the dishes or making the bed. When I’m sitting here, snuggling my baby girl, I feel completely at peace.
She’ll only be this little once. I want to soak up all the time I can with her.
